St. Croix, one of the gems of the US Virgin Islands, boasts an impressive array of resorts. From what I found, the island offers 5 fantastic options—1 all-inclusive resort, 2 adults-only resorts, and 3 family-friendly resorts. The all-inclusive resort in St. Croix brings together all the bells and whistles: stunning oceanfront vistas, delectable cuisine, and activities that are just too good to pass up.
Aside from the beaches, St. Croix has historic sugar plantations and charming towns with bright-colored structures that will give you a colonial feel. During my visit, I felt like I was walking through a postcard!
But let’s get back to the important stuff: the all-inclusive resorts! You can unwind in style and comfort while experiencing an authentic Caribbean vibe. Plus, if you’re a seafood lover like me, you’ll be delighted to know that the resorts offer some of the most delicious seafood dishes you’ll ever taste. So, if you’re looking for a place to relax, have fun, and indulge in a little luxury, St. Croix’s all-inclusive resorts are the way to go.

All-Inclusive Resorts in St. Croix

Divi Carina Bay Beach Resort & Casino

Divi Carina Bay Resort, St. Croix’s only all-inclusive resort, is equipped with everything for an enjoyable Caribbean vacation. The adults-only resort on the serene East End of St. Croix offers 1000 feet of white sandy beach, four bars, four restaurants, two freshwater pools, a fitness center, and an extensive program of activities. The entire property has been renovated and modernized, from suites and rooms to amenities, menus, services, dining, events, and experiences.
Rooms are modern, air-conditioned, and designed with Caribbean chic decor and ocean tones. Views are beachfront with private balconies or hillside with an equipped kitchen, dining and living area, separate bedroom, bathroom, and a private balcony.
The resort’s food and drink selections are varied among six bars and restaurants, including delicious classic Italian, innovative options brought by a hot lava rock cooked to your liking, American classics, a pizza bar, gourmet coffee and desserts in a take-and-go concept, and a brand-new stunning lounge bar.
There are two freshwater pools, the main pool right on the beach. Other amenities include non-motorized water activities, tennis, pickleball, shuffleboard, a fitness center with daily activities, and an in-house casino.
Few All-inclusive Resorts on St Croix
There’s just one all-inclusive resort located in St Croix. Instead, there are a number of traditional resorts scattered throughout the island. Here are a few of the most popular resorts located in St. Croix.
Carambola Beach Resort

Carambola Beach Resort by Marriott is situated on an old sugar plantation and boasts an unbeatable beachfront location. The rooms are designed to be villa-style and offer ample space, with expansive sitting space.
Let your worries go in Carambola’s spacious villa-style rooms with spacious living and sleeping areas, many of which have stunning ocean views. With 563 square feet of space, standard guest rooms have marble bathrooms and kitchenettes. Rooms also have pullout sofas, ergonomic workstations, cushioned couches, and balconies.
On-site are two restaurants and a bar, and more than a half dozen international dining options are available nearby.
Take in the outdoor pool and the whirlpool beside it, and then get moving at the 24/7 fitness center. For those who prefer to keep their feet on the ground, Carambola provides easy access to the highly regarded Carambola Golf Course approximately three miles south of the resort, created in the late 1920s by Laurence Rockefeller. Available activities nearby include a kayak or island tour, horseback riding, and sites such as museums and a spa.
Sand Castle on the Beach

Sand Castle on the Beach hotel is an attractive, gay-friendly, small-scale alternative to the big resorts on St. Croix’s eastern end. The boutique hotel is adults-only, and guests must be 16 or above.
The hotel has five styles of rooms, from beachfront villas to budget studios. All rooms have private baths, air conditioning, overhead fans, cable television, and ironing equipment, while suites and luxury villas have kitchens and living rooms.
There are two freshwater pools, and the Courtyard Pool and its surrounding area are clothing-optional. The hotel offers complimentary welcome drinks, a book-lending library, and beach towels.
The hotel’s award-winning restaurant, Beach Side Cafe, is open-air and on the beach, offering daily seafood dishes made from fresh catch. The cafe’s lounge serves cocktails made by hand and mocktails made from fresh local juices.
Sand Castle’s beach is swimmable, and guests can take advantage of snorkeling, scuba diving, kayaking, sailing, deep-sea fishing, and jet-skiing – or choose land-based activities such as hiking, horseback riding, joining a leatherback sea turtle watch, or visiting the island’s historic sites.
Hotel on the Cay

Hotel on the Cay, a three-star hotel, sits on the five-acre Protestant Cay. While it is a 2-minute ferry ride from downtown Christiansted, it is only accessible via private boat. In the 17th century, pirates anchored ships on the beach where families now sunbathe, swim, and dive.
All rooms have balconies with ocean views, air conditioning, televisions, microwaves, and refrigerators. WiFi is also accessible at no cost to guests.
On-site dining options include Rolling Smoke on the Cay, which offers barbecue, and The Beach Bar, which serves daily drink specials.
St. Croix island-wide activities such as snorkeling, swimming, water sports, and sightseeing are easily accessible from the hotel. Restaurants, shopping, the Christiansted National Historic District, buses, Buck Island taxis, fishing, and diving are only a few steps away from the hotel’s ferry dock.
The Palms at Pelican Cove

Three miles from Christiansted, the Palms at Pelican Cove sits on eight rural acres filled with coconut palms and a white sand beach. A relaxed beach resort, the Palms is not a big luxury hotel but instead has a laid-back, family-friendly feel.
The 38 rooms in the hotel are located in two freestanding buildings by the ocean, and all have stunning views of the ocean from large terraces. Each room is air-conditioned and equipped with ceiling fans, satellite TV, refrigerators, microwaves, and coffee makers. Ground-floor rooms have beachfront patios, while upper-floor rooms have beachfront balconies.
The Palms Restaurant offers oceanfront dining and serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The bar is on the beach and offers a selection of local beverages, including cold beers, wine, and cocktails to suit every taste. WiFi is free and accessible throughout the property.
Guests can easily snorkel and kayak at Long Reef, just a few yards from shore, as the hotel provides snorkeling gear and kayaks for free. Other activities include seasonal (summer) turtle watches and live nightly entertainment. Of course, many other activities St. Croix offers are also available outside of the hotel.
