Hotel Belo’s restaurant, 140°, offers gourmet Mexican and international flavors, and its pool bar, The Palm, serves cocktails and bites to eat with the Caribbean in the background. 

Other hotel features include free parking, an outdoor pool, a fitness center, green space, and a terrace. It has a 24-hour reception desk, airport shuttle, room service, and free Wi-Fi throughout the property. Guests have nothing but praise for the attentive and hospitable staff.

Formerly called the Avalon Reef Club, the MÍA Reef Hotel is now with a new company and has been completely revamped and is great for families.

MÍA Reef is nestled on its own island, El Yunque, in the Northern portion of Isla Mujeres, making it one of the most secluded hotels on Isla Mujeres. 

All 156 bedrooms, villas, and suites are contemporary, with bright modern Mexican accents, complimentary minibars, air conditioning, and free Wi-Fi. Certain rooms have hot tubs in the outdoor deck area, a kitchenette, and personal kayak or snorkel equipment.

This all-inclusive resort has four restaurants: Las Marías, offering gourmet poolside fare; Sarimar Restaurant, set on the beach; Cevichería, serving seafood cuisine; and the Blue Moon Bar on the beach, providing snacks and comfort food. MÍA also has a Coffee Gallery for coffee, soft drinks, and desserts. 

Massage and beauty treatments are available at the resort’s Spa MÍA, which uses natural ingredients in its therapies. 

Worth noting are the private white sand beach and the relaxing water loungers at the resort pool. If you can drag yourself away from the beach or pool, it’s a five-minute walk to town, where souvenir shops and restaurants await you.

Zoetry is a boutique resort of 35 suites in the World of Hyatt collection and open to families. It’s accessible by the hotel’s private catamaran, is located on the Sac Bjo peninsula of Isla Mujeres. Suites are luxurious with marble and views of the Caribbean, with a modern Mexican-Mediterranean style featuring Tikul stone floors and Tikal marble mats.
